This is a great family hike, manageable for children aged 5 and upwards. This is a round trip, and we recommend
you to walk clockwise. The initial ascent is steep, with some rocky sections. For families with young
children, walking time to the summit is about 1,5 hours. You may choose to walk back the same way or
continue on the marked trail to the pass Breiveskaret, which will take you to the Fjellparken cabin area. This
part of the trail has some loose rocks and at times wet bog areas. Solid footwear is recommended.
The summit awaits you with a stone cairn and a guest book. Feel free to add your name and a greeting.
We also recommend a hike to one of the other summits; Hartevassnuten, Nos and Otrosåsen.
